Ambassadors for the Arnold Palmer Invitational on March 6th have been assigned time slots. Click here to find your assignment!
Thank you for being a volunteer at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Pro-Am as a PGA Ambassador. Please arrive and register 45 minutes prior to your assigned starting time. Unfortunately, we do not have the PGA TOUR player list at this time. Should we get them in a timely manner we will have them posted on our website so you can see who you’ll be with.
DATE: Wednesday, March 6. Morning wave begins at 6:50 am. Afternoon round begins at 11:40 am.
PARKING: Park in Lot 10, Gate C. Just follow the signs. This will put you behind #6 fairway so allow ample time to walk in. Just tell them at the gate that you are one of the NFPGA Pro Am ambassadors. A short cut is to take the trail behind #6 green through the woods to #2 tee and walk down #1.
CHECK IN: We will stage in a NEW area this year. We will be in Chalet 9B directly behind #9 green. It is the only chalet there. There will be signage at the chalet. Note that we will NOT be checking in in the clubhouse lobby.
UNIFORM: You will receive your navy shirt, cap, ticket and lunch voucher at registration. Your slacks will be KHAKI. You may change in restroom by chalet. You may redeem your lunch voucher in the concession area behind #9 green.
After check-in, report to your respective tee 15 minutes prior to your starting time assignment. Do not go inside the ropes until you are directed by Brian Decker on #1 tee and Steve Morris on #10 tee. They will then introduce you to your group.
The API Tournament Director has asked that you DO NOT ASK for pictures and autographs with the players.
You are an ambassador and your primary role is to help the amateurs and act as a buffer between them and the PGA TOUR professional. Please do not help players read putts. Just be there for the amateurs if they need any help.
Should you have any issues please call Steve Morris on his cell. 386-235-7807
We hope you enjoy your day “inside the ropes” and we are proud to be a part of this great tournament. It is truly a unique experience to walk with the best players in the world!
